WEC HIRE OPTIONS
All of the outdoor area is available for hire including the large sand arena, 60mx20m grass arena and round yards. Please note riding on the trotting track is not permitted.
CLUB MEMBERS
If you are a member of one of the WEC member clubs then you can hire the grounds for $15 per rider.
NON CLUB MEMBERS
If you are not a member of any of the WEC clubs, you can hire the grounds for $20 per rider.
CLINICS
To hire the grounds for a clinic or group training session, the cost of $200 per day. You will be required to provide WEC with a copy of your insurance.
CLUBHOUSE
The Clubhouse and its facilities are available for Business/Conference, seminar events, meetings, exhibitions, celebratory -wakes or groups passing through for $350. Both male/female and disabled toilets and showers along with the use of the wood fire are included in this price. This doesn't include the use of the commercial kitchen but for a small fee this can be arranged. Please enquire for more info.
OVERNIGHT CAMPING - NOT STOCK ROUTE
WEC is fully equipped with under cover stalls and outside 3x3 day yards. We can accommodate those who wish not to use the FREE camping of Warren Blackwood Stock Route at the Mottram Camp. Hire can be arranged with use of the outside toilets or inside shower and toilets.
HIRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All riders/participants use the grounds at their own risk (see below signature section).
Warren Pony Club - Helmets (Australian Standard) must be worn at all times regardless of age.
Southern Forests Campdraft Members please adhere to the following ACA ruling - “Riders under the age of 18 must wear helmets whilst mounted on a horse at all ACA-affiliated events. Helmets must comply with current Australian and New Zealand safety standards and must be securely fastened under the chin at all times.
Any items that may become broken or damaged MUST be reported to the WEC contact person above and replaced at the hirer’s expense.
This hire agreement does not include equipment.
All yards MUST be cleaned of all manure and hay and placed in the designated area.
The club house is not a part of the hire and will be locked at all times.
Outside toilets can be accessed for rider use.
No Riding on the trotting track is permitted at all.
Please ensure that the front gate is closed at all times whilst using the grounds to avoid horses escaping onto the road.
When leaving ensure the combination chain is spun and gate closed as you found it.
The combination code will be changed on a regular basis.
Please report any issues you may have to the WEC as soon as possible.
A spotter (supervisor) is anybody who is over the age of 18 who can assist the riding person in the event of an injury or emergency. The spotter must have a working mobile phone with them at all times.
Payment is to be made prior to entering the grounds.
This hire form only pertains to the ONE use. IF you wish to hire the grounds on a regular basis we can complete a long term hire agreement.
HIRE REQUEST
By completing this form you agree that you (and any other riders) use the WEC grounds at your own risk and that the Warren Equestrian Centre is in no way liable for any injuries or harm caused to yourself and / or your animals whilst at the WEC grounds. You agree not to consume alcohol or take drugs prohibited whilst riding at the WEC grounds. You understand that by submitting this hire request it constitutes complete and unconditional release of all liability to Warren Equestrian Centre Inc., to the greatest extent allowed by law, in the event of yourself and / or children under your care, suffering injury or death.
